About HITS
HITS – House of InsurTech Switzerland was founded in December 2019 and is a subsidiary of Generali (Switzerland) Holding Ltd. The InsurTech Hub is focusing on the CorpUp approach by bringing together corporates and start-ups and making innovation happen.
HITS aims at becoming a leading InsurTech hub by shaping and nurturing partnerships between corporates and start-ups to accelerate and scale corporate innovation. Originally, the project was started in 2017 with the innovation garage at Generali Switzerland. During the last years, a lot has been learned about open innovation and different methods like design thinking. Step by step, start-up innovation has been successfully injected into corporates. In order to offer innovation as a service not only for Generali, HITS is opening up its doors. The innovation garage has created space, where start-ups find a place to work and get in contact with corporates and investors. With partners from the InsurTech world and leading universities, HITS has created the perfect environment to co-create innovative solutions through collaboration between corporates and start-ups.
