Alexander Braun

Alexander Braun is Vice Director at the Institute of Insurance Economics (I.VW-HSG) and Senior Fellow at the Wharton Risk Center (Penn). He is also a risk management professor at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland. The focus areas of Mr. Braun comprise Natural Catastrophe Risk, Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS), Digital Insurance and Sustainable Insurance. Mr. Braun has published in leading scientific journals such as the Journal of Risk and Insurance, the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, and Insurance: Mathematics and Economics. He regularly presents at worldwide academic conferences in his field and has been an invited moderator, panelist, and keynote speaker at various industry events. His research and teaching activities have been awarded, among others, by the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA), the Asia-Pacific Risk and Insurance Association (APRIA), the Geneva Association, the International Insurance Society (IIS), and the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).

Andri Silberschmidt

Andri Silberschmidt ist 26 Jahre alt, Politiker und Gastro-Unternehmer. Mit 15 Jahren startete er eine Banklehre und war bis Oktober 2019 bei Swisscanto Invest für das Management von allen quantitativen Aktienfonds, die in Entwicklungsländer investieren, verantwortlich. Berufsbegleitend hat er den BSc in Business Administration (Dean’s List) und den MSc in Global Finance (with Merit) an der Cass Business School (City University of London) abgeschlossen.

Im Jahr 2017 gründete er zusammen mit Freunden eine Gastronomiekette, deren Verwaltungsratspräsident er ist und aktuell vier Filialen in Zürich, eine in Bern und eine in Basel betreibt. Seit Mai 2020 arbeitet Silberschmidt in einem 50 % Pensum im CFO Project Office der Planzer Support AG.

Andri Silberschmidt trat 2011 den Jungfreisinnigen bei: Von 2016 bis 2019 war er Präsident der Jungfreisinnigen Schweiz, wurde 2018 für die FDP ins Parlament der Stadt Zürich und bei den Eidgenössischen Wahlen 2019 als jüngstes Mitglied der 51. Legislatur in den Nationalrat gewählt.

Technology Fund

Diese Unternehmen erhalten bei positiver Beurteilung eine Zusicherung. Die Bürgschaft wird Banken oder anderen geeigneten Darlehensgebern gewährt. Zur Deckung der Bürgschaftsausfälle fliessen maximal CHF 25 Millionen pro Jahr aus den Erträgen der CO2-Abgabe in einen Technologiefonds.

yokoy

yokoy enables companies to automate their expense and credit card processes using artificial intelligence. The entire process from the photo to the correct booking and payment to the employees is thus possible in a few clicks. yokoy goes further than traditional tools as it automates the relevant processes for everyone - employees, managers and the finance team.
